Amazing!
The whole time during my meal I felt like I was in Istanbul once again.
Super friendly staff with awesome manners.
This is probably the top 1 Turkish restaurant that I have tried here in Dallas.
Omg the food 🤌🏻🤌🏻 the true definition of "delicious"
I got their soup of the day: Lentils soup(soft and warm with a great scent of spices +cream+ traditional bread---> Middle Eastern style🥰)
Then their Beef Shish --> so Tender/loved the side salad too
Then Turkish Flan for dessert--> believe me, You have to try it cause you might love it just like me 🫠🫠
(Again another restroom mirror Selfie 🤳)
Great place to dine With Friends. This was our first time there and our first Turkish cuisine we started out with the house hummus and pita bread. Our friends recommended the lamb shank. Are way to recommended the grilled branzino . Health issues with excellent but I want to order a different side besides the green salad that comes with. It was more like a garnish. We ordered a side of the bean salad which is really good. The place is very small and gets crowded very quickly. I would get there early. We enjoyed it and we always there again if we're ever in the area.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! we ordered the salmon entree and chicken sheesh. Both dishes were nice! We loved the salmon more! Absolutely delicious! Also they do give free pita bread and side to snack before your food arrives so great ! Aldo tried turkish flan which was also good ! Little cinnamon flavored which we liked !
The location is behind a store, first feels weird but really the atmosphere and inside is very nice ! They have outdoor patio with lights where we were seated ! There is parking outside the restaurant. Weekend always see if you can reserve ! Weekdays you can get a table without wait mostly .
I am from Austin and it was the first time being Selda. One of my friends recommended it and I decided to give it a try. It was honestly a great experience. It was busy which means people like it. Even though it was full service fas really fast. Everyone was friendly and helpful. FYI I went there without reservation. Thank you so much. I will come again to try Turkish breakfast!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had an amazing dining experience at this Turkish restaurant! The beet salad with watermelon was to die for, and the arugula salad paired with halloumi cheese was a delightful combination. The Turkish tea and coffee were a perfect ending. The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. What stood out the most was the fast and friendly service. Highly recommended for a fantastic culinary journey!
Nice restaurant in terms of atmosphere and vibe but food and service were kind of mediocre. We were trying to understand what the ethnicity of the restaurant was because we saw Lebanese, Israeli cuisine and liquor on the menu and those tend to be mutually exclusive. We then realized it was Turkish. Anyways, food was ok. Certainly no bold or unique flavors and kind of bland. The common Arabic dishes here like Labneh and Hummus were on the menu but nowhere near as good as in Arabic restaurants. The service was kind of mediocre too to be honest.
Came here for a group gathering. One line summary: food was very memorable and yummy!!
There is an outside seating area when the weather is good. The inside of the restaurant is clean and inviting.
The wait staff left us alone since this was a group gathering, but they were also quick and attentive when services were needed.
Small bites:
* Hummus: smooth.
* Fried Cauliflower: very flavorful and not oily at all even though it is deep fried. The yogurt sauce and the chimichurri sauce gave the dish a nice creamy and yet flavorful balance.
* Halloumi Cheese: wow... A must get.
Main dishes:
* Lamb Chops: tender and not overly gammy
* Beef and chicken shish: nicely grilled with great chard flavor. Meats aren't tough
* Beyti Special: very enjoyable dish. Built with lots of flavors. The tomato sauce gives a refreshing layer
* Grilled Salmon: very well cooked. It had a great outer crust but the inside of the salmon is soft and nicely cooked.
* Meat Pie: meat sauce was very well seasoned and it it like a thin crust pizza
All the dishes came with rice and bean salad. I would have liked a bit more citrus, a dash of lemon on the salad.
The Baklava was also a hit!
The overall experience was great and everyone enjoyed their dish.
We stopped by Selda for a quick dinner and had a blessed as usual. We were given a table in a few mins after we walked in. So lucky! Beyti and lahmacun were our picks for dinner and they were delicious as always.
